4th July 2007 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: 30-40 knts Surf / Sea State: 3 ft Air Temperature: 14C Sea Temperature: Weather: cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered: Woo hoo called in for Al only to find the weather station was averaging over 30 knots !! So went straight out to rig 4.5m and wave board. Tide was very high but launched and run out was OK but crashed and burnt and got munched in shore break for a while. Spent some time a bit stuck in this section but found it better once the tide dropped a bit. Some nice runs very well powered up and some great flat areas between the waves and plenty of jumps (no choice in that anyway). Great fun but could have been better but got tired all too soon and should have been more confident out there... I want more. |
